Canoeing & Kayaking in the Rangeley Lakes Region

Paddle the area's scenic rivers like the Kennebago River, Cupsuptic, Magalloway, and North Branch of the Dead River; tour the ponds to view the common loon and mergansers or cranes and herons; or explore the coves and islands of one or more of the seven lakes in the Rangeley chain (Rangeley Lake, Mooselookmeguntic Lake, Cupsuptic Lake, Upper & Lower Richardson Lakes, Kennebago Lake, and Umbagog Lake). All local waters offer excellent paddling for both beginners and experts alike. Trips vary in length from short day excursions to three to five day journeys.

Kennebago River Canoe Trip from River's Edge Sports

Our Rental Canoes and Kayaks Get dropped off on the Kennebago River and canoe at your own pace, taking in all the wildlife and serene settings. End at your car on Route 16. Trip usually takes 2 to 3 hours. For your best chance at viewing moose try our new sunrise trip. Leave at the crack of dawn aboard one of our canoes or kayaks. All for $45.00. Trip includes canoe, life jackets, paddles and drop off and canoe pick up. Canoe and Kayak Rentals available from our dock on Rangeley Lake. Delivery and pick-up available for our customers.
